Define what must fit on the display

Promotions, barcodes and unit prices change the required area.

01.01

Core price

Check that product name, current price and unit information remain legible at the target viewing distance.

01.02

Promotions

Old/new prices, dates and campaign messages may require a larger layout or a separate template.

01.03

Operational fields

Relate barcode, QR, stock or picking fields to a real operational use case.

02
Physical fit

Measure shelf and mounting conditions

The full enclosure and fitting matter as much as diagonal display size.

02.01

Shelf profile

Measure rail height, shelf edge, product overhang and spacing between adjacent labels on site.

02.02

Viewing distance

As angle and distance increase, typography and display-size requirements change.

02.03

Fittings

Verify rail, clip, hanger or stand with the exact model; do not order from display size alone.

03
Sample

Validate with real content on the real shelf

A catalogue image cannot prove field legibility or mechanical compatibility.

03.01

Template test

Prepare samples using the longest product name, highest price and densest promotion layout.

03.02

Shelf test

Mount the sample with the intended fitting and check legibility from relevant angles.

03.03

Device mix

A small set of standard sizes by shelf type usually simplifies ongoing management.
