Returns and Cancellation

Withdrawal in B2B sales

Electronic shelf labels, base stations, digital displays, licences, accessories and related services are B2B products and services offered for commercial or professional use. Orders by merchants, companies, sole proprietors or other buyers acting professionally are not consumer transactions.

The statutory 14-day no-reason consumer withdrawal right under Turkish Law No. 6502 does not apply to B2B orders. Returns and cancellations follow the proposal, order confirmation, these terms and any specific agreement between the parties.

Order cancellation and discretionary returns

Cancellation requests made before payment and order confirmation are assessed according to whether sourcing, preparation or production has begun. Once an order is confirmed or preparation begins, conforming goods do not carry an automatic cancellation or return right.

Where Aya Teknoloji accepts a discretionary return in writing, the goods must be unused, complete, resalable and in their original packaging. Any transport, inspection, repackaging or loss-of-value conditions are disclosed in writing before the return.

Company- or project-specific goods

Goods prepared with a customer-approved logo, laser marking, special colour, enclosure, labelling, dimensions, production or similar distinguishing specifications are company- or project-specific. Discretionary cancellation and return are not accepted once production or customisation begins.

Even where a transaction exceptionally qualifies as a consumer transaction, goods made to the consumer’s specifications or personal requirements may fall within the statutory exception to withdrawal.

Defective, incorrect or incomplete delivery

The absence of a withdrawal right in B2B sales does not remove contractual or statutory remedies for defective, damaged, incorrect or incomplete delivery. Customers should inspect delivered goods as soon as practicable and report issues with the order number, product details and supporting images.

Depending on the assessment, repair, replacement, completion of missing items, price reduction or another applicable remedy is determined under the agreement and applicable law.

Exceptional consumer transactions

If a purchase is genuinely made outside commercial or professional activity and the buyer qualifies as a consumer under Turkish Law No. 6502, mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Unless a statutory exception applies, the 14-day withdrawal right and corresponding return process then apply under applicable law.
